Appointment Changes at Reconciler
Beginning in June, Rev. Adam Burns will move into the role of Senior Pastor for Church of the Reconciler UMC.
Rev. Jerry Stephens will continue his role as Associate Pastor, and Rev. R.G. Lyons will be appointed part-time to Reconciler to help with fundraising, along with his appointment to First Church Birmingham, at the end of June.
Rev. Matt Lacey will be moving to the United Methodist Volunteers in Mission (UMVIM) Southeastern Jurisdiction office as the Executive Director.
Your prayers are appreciated as these changes take effect and as always thanks for your support of Reconciler!

MEDICAL SUPPLIES NEEDED
We are currently in need of the following medical supplies for the Nightingale Clinic at Church of the Reconciler: cold medications, Benadryl, Ibuprofen, muscle creams/ointments, assorted vitamins, steroid creams, antacids, Aspirin, eye drops, antibiotic and A&D ointments. If you wish to drop off any of these items, or if you have more questions, please be sure to check in with the church office at 205-324-6402.
CLOTHES CLOSET UPDATE
As of Jan 1, 2017 we will no longer be accepting donations for the clothes closet at Church of the Reconciler. While we know this is a need for some in our community, there are other organizations who do a much better job of meeting that need (we'd be happy to share that list if you call the office: 205-324-6402).
We will continue accepting NEW underwear, socks, and new winter items when the weather turns cold. Please see our donations page for the latest updated list of needs.
